Oriental gardens come to life through inspiring fabric design
With Japan being in the spotlight for the 2020 Olympic event, ILIV has created a homage to the Orient with its Orientalis collection.
The story draws its influences from decorative chinoiseries of fanciful scenes and imagery showcasing the iconic oriental garden with trailing florals and colourful pheasants. The collection, launched at the Heimtextil showcase in Frankfurt, also takes inspiration from the classic kimono layering and trails with structured geometrics.
Orientalis will give any home an instant injection of glamour. The fabrics are enriched with brushstroke artistry, motifs and prints on 3D jacquards, cotton sateen and delicate embroideries. Colours offer soft tones in blush, delft and duckegg colour ways but there’s high contrasting colour stories in jet and jade too.
The collection has been intelligently designed to give customers the ability to embrace the orient using feature fabrics such as Orientalis and Cranes or simple tonal designs such as Imari, Sakura and Sumi.
We hope you love the collection of designs as much as we do. View it in full here.
